Hurricane Isaac

The National Animal Rescue and Sheltering Coalition worked closely with officials in Louisiana and Mississippi to respond to the devastation wreaked by Hurricane Isaac. The Coalition invited our federal and state partners to join us on nightly status calls to coordinate our collective responses to reported animal-related needs. NARSC team in Alexandria

NARSC deployed a team of nine shelter workers from IFAW and RedRover to help care for displaced pets at an emergency shelter in Alexandria, Louisiana.
